Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow a structured training plan, with defined competency requirements at each stage, developing the skills required to perform the following:
  • Assist in the function testing, assembly and preparation of equipment
  • Carry out inspection, maintenance and repair of equipment, in accordance with documented QA and safe working procedures, including non-conformance and corrective action procedures
  • Troubleshoot technical problems offshore/onshore and perform maintenance on computers and laboratory equipment
  • Calibrate, modify and suggest improvements 
  • Ensure that records of tool operational histories, maintenance and calibration are kept up-to-date and are readily available, and where appropriate, utilizing SAP and company's own software platforms.
  • Ensure that Company QA policy and recommended operating procedures are followed and adhered to in the operation of all equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with Company policy and local legislation
  • Assist in training of new staff where appropriate
  • Perform other relevant duties as required by Management

Education, Experience, Certification and Training:
  • Educated to HND level or above in Electronic or Mechanical engineering
  • Ongoing job-specific training will be provided as required
