Scientific Drilling is looking for a Temporary SAP Operations Support Assistant to work at our Motor Facility in Yukon, Oklahoma.  Scientific Drilling is an independent directional drilling and wellbore navigation, surveying and logging Service Company serving customers worldwide.  Our industry leading navigation systems provide definitive wellbore placement information, enabling safer and more efficient placement of tightly spaced wellbores throughout the world.  We are motivated by crafting innovative and elegant solutions to technically challenging problems. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Validate work orders and reporting through SAP.
  • Successfully able to organize incoming motor orders in SAP.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in SAP system and/or learn SAP system.
  • Ability to work in an ever changing, dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Office, etc.)
  • Must be able to operate with little supervision
  • Ability to verify work orders, invoices, etc.
  • Follow up with managers and employees for signatures, documentation, and/or other clarifications to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Prioritizes and appropriately schedules assignments or tasks to meet established deadlines.
  • Participate in departmental and other meetings.
  • Manage workstation and practice good housekeeping techniques.
  • Ensure high accuracy of work product.
  • Pursue every job with drive and determination.
  • Use logic to solve problems with effective solutions.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

 Education, Experience, Certification and Training:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Introduction to Accounting course work preferred.
  • 2+ year of clerical/secretarial experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly accurate data entry skills required.
  • Strong communication skills with good customer service.
  • Previous SAP and manufacturing experience a requirement.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Must be able to work quickly and accurately.

 Location, Physical Requirements and PPE

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 25 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle.
  • Conditions may include working inside and/or outside.  May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects.  Working near radiant and electrical energy.  Working closely with others or working alone.  Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.
  • Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, telephone and vehicles.  Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, safety glasses, hardhat, reinforced toed shoes, coveralls, gloves, and ear plugs or muffs.
